How does Glaner turn a fridge photo into recipes?
You take a photo of your open fridge, and Glaner sends it to an AI image recognition service that identifies what's in there, then matches and ranks three recipes based on what it found.
Do I need an account to use Glaner?
No, there's no signup wall and no account required, you just open the app and start scanning.
Is Glaner free?
Glaner is free to download and try, and if you want unlimited scans and the extra features, Glaner Plus is available monthly (€4.99), yearly (€34.99), or as a one time lifetime purchase (€89.99), with a 3 day free trial on the monthly and yearly plans.
Are my fridge photos kept private?
Glaner doesn't store your photos on its own servers or link them to you: the photo goes to OpenAI for ingredient detection, it's never used to train their models, and OpenAI may hold onto it for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring before deleting it. Read the full privacy policy for the details.
Does Glaner work without an internet connection?
Scanning needs an internet connection, since the photo has to leave your device for ingredient detection, but everything you save, recipes, shopping lists, preferences, lives locally and stays accessible even offline.
What languages is support available in?
Support answers in English, Portuguese, Italian and French, usually within five working days.
